Case of Havrylivski Kurchata Agroholding

EQUITY entered the case of Havrylivski Kurchata Agroholding after the Pechersk District Court in Kyiv chose pre-trial detention as a measure of restraint, with alternative bail for the owners and officials of Havrylivski Kurchata Agroholding being as huge as UAH 90, 84 and 80 million.

In June of 2018 team of EQUITY lawyers appealed the decision to keep the suspects in the criminal proceedings in relation to facts of violation of ecological safety requirements and creation of a criminal organization in pre-trial detention in the case of Havrylivski Kurchata Agroholding. Kyiv Court of Appeal reversed the aforementioned rulings and set reasonable bails, which had already been deposited to an account of the court.

 In July of 2018 a senior detective of the National Police of Ukraine was denied to use pre-trial detention as a restraint measure with alternative bail in the amount of UAH 253 million for O. Marchenko, the Client of the company and CEO of Agromars Complex LLC.  

Instead, the Pechersk District Court in Kyiv ruled to put the suspect under night house arrest (from 10 p.m. To 7 a.m.).

The given episode is a constituent part of the criminal proceedings in relation to facts of violation of ecological safety requirements and creation of a criminal organization in the case of Havrylivski Kurchata Agroholding.
