<span class="equity">EQUITY</span> lawyers have attended the 23rd report by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights

On 19 September 2018, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights presented the 23rd report on the situation in Ukraine for the period from 16 May to 15 August 2018.

During the reporting period, the OHCHR documented more than 160 human rights violations, involving 282 people as victims. The rights violated included: right to restitution and compensation for the use/damage of private property, right to social security and social protection, freedom of movement and access to basic services, right to personal integrity and right to a fair trial.

The OHCHR gave a number of recommendations to the Government of Ukraine and committed itself to keep on monitoring the enforcement of rights and freedoms of the Ukrainian people.
