EQUITY team successfully protects RwS Bank interests in its dispute with NBU

On December 24, 2020, the District Administrative court of Kyiv granted the claim of RwS Bank, found the decision of the National Bank of Ukraine on imposition of over 3 mln hryvnas fine on the Bank to be unlawful and cancelled it.

EQUITY lawyers proved proper fulfillment of legal requirements by the bank in making clients’ transactions that were examined by NBU. In the course of the court proceeding it was proved that NBU had incorrectly applied legal provisions on liability for violations in the field of financial monitoring.
