It is a great honour for EQUITY to be a partner of this anniversary celebration.

Over the course of two decades, the UAA has evolved from a fledgling professional organisation into an institution that unites the legal community, defends lawyers’ rights and promotes the development of standards within the legal profession in Ukraine. Today, this mission is taking on even greater significance. In the context of a full-scale war, an independent legal profession is one of the pillars of access to justice, the protection of human rights and the upholding of justice.

EQUITY consistently supports the initiatives and activities of UAA, as it is convinced that a strong professional community is the foundation of a strong rule of law.

Twenty years is not only a cause for celebration, but also an opportunity to express our gratitude. We thank Ukrainian Advocates' Association for its consistency, professionalism and for having united and protected the legal profession for two decades.

Happy anniversary, UAA! May the future bring even more achievements, unity and meaningful change for the Ukrainian legal profession.
