EQUITY Managing Partner Oleh Malinevskyi shared valuable insights on how to build an effective strategy, work with clients, build trust and an impeccable reputation.
The role of media and social media in a lawyer's professional life, how to find a work-life balance and avoid burnout were also discussed.
The session concluded with the «Leader’s Commandments» — key principles for reaching the top in the legal field.

Dmytro Tylipskyi, Counsel at EQUITY, continued the training series of lectures for the participants of our project with topic "The Art of Court Appearance"
Together we dove into an important topic - how to perform effectively in court.
- How to structure your position
- How to convince the court
- What role do hard and soft skills play in court debates
The answers to these questions and many practical tips were discussed together with our motivated participants.

The strategies and tactics of litigation were discussed together with Andrii Ivaniv, counsel at EQUITY.
"Litigation is not only about competition, but also about the art of strategic thinking", Andrii Ivaniv, Counsel at EQUITY, shared with the participants practical cases and professional life hacks that help attorneys to act confidently and effectively.
This time we looked at such important aspects of litigation as:

- Building a strategy: from preparation to the closing of the case.
- How to respond to unexpected arguments from the other side.
- Dispute resolution through mediation and negotiation as an alternative to litigation.
- The use of precedents in court practice.
Together with motivated participants, we discussed these challenges and developed tools that will help to win in court not only through knowledge but also through strategy.

“Procedural documents are the foundation of legal skills that determine the strength of the legal position and the persuasiveness of arguments,” Maksym Halan, Counsel at EQUITY together with the participants, reviewed practical tips and techniques that will help achieve the desired result.
At the final lecture of the course, we analysed in detail:
- The importance of procedural documents in litigation.
- Principles and secrets of writing.
- Structure of the document.
- Rules of execution.
The meeting was a great opportunity to share experiences and develop new approaches to professional growth!
At the final meeting of the course, the participants presented a practical solution to a case, where they demonstrated their argumentation skills and confidently defended their position.
- As part of the graduation project, the participants worked on a real case, which allowed them to experience the dynamics of a simulated trial, with all its challenges, nuances and responsibilities. This provided an invaluable opportunity to delve into real legal issues.
- The speakers and mentors provided invaluable insights and guidance, enabling all participants to gain practical knowledge and experience in the legal field. While the court ruled in favour of the defendants, it is important to acknowledge that the opposing team also made their case. All the participants received top marks from the judges on a number of criteria, including how well they argued, their speech strategy and their ability to deal with unexpected procedural moments. This is the main victory that everyone shares, and it's something to be celebrated!

We thank each and every student for their courage, perseverance and desire to grow. We would like to say a huge thank you to the judges and speakers of our project — Oleh Malinevskyi, Dmytro Tylipskiy, Andrii Ivaniv, Maksym Halan, Ivan Olshevskiy and Yevhen Filonenko, as well as to our mentors — Yaroslav Labatiuk and Taras Shtokalo.
We are thrilled to announce that our graduates are more than ready to tackle the exciting professional challenges that lie ahead! We are thrilled to be a part of your journey and we know you can overcome any challenge to reach the very top!
