EQUITY obtained acquittal in the HACC Appeals Chamber

EQUITY obtained acquittal for the former Head of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine. 

Today, on April 24, the Appeal Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the position of EQUITY's attorney and closed the criminal proceeding against the company's client due to the absence of a criminal offense in his actions, as well as canceled the preventive measure that was applied earlier.

In 2022, the NABU and the SAPO served a notice of suspicion to Valeriy Patskan, former Chairman of the Accounting Chamber and Member of Parliament of the 8th convocation, of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
