EQUITY represents Georgiy Logvinsky in the Golden Mandarin Oil case

Our Client is Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Vice-President European People's Party in the Council of Europe, Chairman of the Group of interparliamentary relations with the State of Israel.

EQUITY lawyers represent Mr. Logvynskyi in the Golden Mandarin case. In this case, the NABU is investigating a possible abuse of power by officials of the Justice Ministry and embezzlement of USD 2mln. The authorities of National Bank of Ukraine ignored all calls by the professional legal community to stop neglecting its independence.

In July 2020, The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) assessed the case in favor of Ukrainian lawyers and has pointed out to serious human rights violations by the NABU, namely pressure on witnesses and illegal surveillance. In turn, NABU stated that it would continue to persecute our Client, despite the ECHR's ruling. 

Now, EQUITY lawyers defend justice in the Supreme Court and the case is ongoing.  This is social resonant case that touched Ukrainian legal community. That is especially important to prove the lawyers’ rights to defend its client and to avoid political poaching on advocate in connection with its professional responsibility.
