EQUITY Team proved the unconstitutionality of Article 375 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine!

The Court agreed with the legal position of EQUITY and declared that Article 375 of the Code contradicts Articles 8.1, 126.1, 126.2, 129.1, 129.2.9 of the Constitution of Ukraine.

The decision of the Court is unprecedented and raises a new era of legal proceedings. Thanks to the work of our lawyers, Ukrainian judges can be independent and autonomous.

Article 375 of the Code was used as a means of bringing pressure on the judges and became a threat to their independence.
