ONE MORE VICTORY OF EQUITY – VERDICT REVOCATION

On February 13, 2018 the court panel of the Chamber of Criminal Cases of the Court of Appeal of Kyiv initiated by the defense counsel's, Oleksandr Lysak, appeal revoked the verdict of the Darnytskiy District Court in Kyiv on May 26, 2016 the criminal proceeding were closed due to the fact that sufficient evidence was not provided to prove the person's guilt in court and exhausted opportunities for obtaining it.

By the verdict of the court of first instance, a natural individual – Client was found guilty of a criminal offense, stipulated by Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, with the imposition of a sentence of imprisonment for a term of 2 (two) years 6 (six) months.

Due to the co-ordinated work of EQUITY partners – Oleхandr Lysak, Taras Poshyvanyuk and Vyacheslav Krahlevych, we were able to obtain a positive procedural result, fulfill our duty to the client and maintain our own form of professional excellence.
