EQUITY Partner Explains Inviolability of Home in Criminal Proceeding

On April 24, 2020, EQUITY partner Vyacheslav Krahlevych delivered an online lecture within “Positions of the European Court of Human Rights in Criminal proceedings” in which he explained the participants in detail the inviolability of one’s home in a criminal proceeding: balance of interests of an individual and society.

In particular, Vyacheslav dwelt upon:

• legislative regulation of entry to one’s dwelling;
• specifics of conducting search; inadmissibility of evidence obtained during search;
• rights and obligations of persons who take part in search;
• algorithm of actions undertaken by defense lawyers before, during and after search.
