Yaroslav Pavlovych Zeikan, partner at EQUITY and master of Ukrainian advocacy, has passed away

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yaroslav Pavlovych Zeikan, a partner at EQUITY and a master of criminal law. He was one of the most exceptional lawyers of our time, a man of great dignity, wisdom and professionalism.

A true role model and mentor to generations of lawyers, he was also the founder of the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine. His ideas, experience and scientific work formed the basis of Ukraine's modern legal system.

Until the last days of his life, Yaroslav Pavlovych remained devoted to the legal profession, actively publishing and sharing knowledge that will forever influence the country's legal landscape.

He leaves behind a school of thought and a culture of legal practice, as well as a host of students. His legacy will live on in all those who strive to emulate him.

We have lost an exceptional specialist and a man of integrity, depth and devotion to his work and to those who sought his help.

We will forever remember Yaroslav Pavlovych as an authority, a mentor, a guide, a model of justice and a noble person.
