Yevhen Filonenko

Yevhen specializes in litigation, banking and finance law, consulting and protecting clients’ interests in projects related to financial issues, corporate law and M&A. Yevhen assists clients in different matters regarding legal due diligence of their companies.

Also, Yevhen focuses on supporting transactions which involve securities and other clients’ assets. He has successful experience of legal support in the real estate and construction sectors.

Yevhen was admitted to the bar in 2017.

Prior to joining the firm, Yevhen worked for an international consulting company. Then he provided legal support for one of the leading construction companies of Ukraine.

He has experience working with high-profile corporate disputes, in particular, advising Ferrexpo AG on the signed multimillion-dollar loan agreements, as well as appealing illegal decisions of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine on Zaporizhtransformator PJSC.

Recent experience (projects):

• legal due diligence of bidding documents to grant concessions to seaports
• advising a leading financial company in the dispute regarding collection of debts under an agreement in the amount of USD 48+ mln
• advising a leading energy company of Ukraine in a dispute by appealing decisions of the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
