EQUITY supports hospitals that need equipment to fight with COVID-19

EQUITY, as part of its # EQUITY_Charity program, has purchased critically needed high-value equipment for the ECMO apparatus for the needs of the Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital due to the outbreak and rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Unlike a ventilator, which is used to force oxygen into the blood and remove carbon dioxide from the lungs, the ECMO device saturates the blood with oxygen in severe acute respiratory failure and literally "replaces" lung function.

In addition to the ventilator and equipment for ECMO machines, we managed to purchase 2 gas analyzers that will help to timely analyze and correct the health of patients, and 1 biochemical analyzer to meet the needs of a large laboratory.
