EQUITY Counsel Takes Part in Discussion On Combating Corruption at LHS Discussion Hub

On July 2, 2020, LHS Discussion Hub “Boosting Fight Against Corruption. Defence Lawyers’ Perspective” was held. The attending experts discussed the issues of boosting the fight against corruption and effectiveness of the methods used for the given purpose.

During the discussion particular attention was drawn to the matters of economic effectiveness of combating corruption, statistical indicators of NABU, major problems of qualifications of defence in criminal proceedings into corruption.

Bohdan Slobodian, EQUITY counsel, referred to the available statistics. The speaker accentuated importance and need of working out a model to determine and compensate damages.
