The judicial branch continues its work during martial law!

On May 25, Shevchenkivskiy District Court of Kyiv acquitted EQUITY's client -  former director of the enterprise on the basis of para. 3 Part 1 Article 373 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine. The court found that the actions of the Client did not constitute a criminal offense, stipulated by Part 5 Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (misappropriation, embezzlement or seizure of property through abuse of official position).

The verdict could be appealed to the Kyiv Court of Appeal within 30 days after it had been pronounced.
