On June 9, EQUITY partner Oleg Malinevskiy took part in the online discussion ON-LAW Marathon "Business in times of war: Compensation Mechanisms"

During the speech Oleg focused on the issue of developing effective mechanisms of war damages recovery caused by russia.

In Oleg's opinion, one of the most effective methods of damage compensation is lawsuits against russia and russian oligarchs in Ukrainian courts with subsequent execution abroad. 

Also, a partner drew attention to the importance of including russian oligarchs in the list of those responsible for the material damage caused to Ukrainians. Business and government act together in this war. When people pay taxes in the state, produce weapons and all that is needed in time of war - they are accomplices to the crime.
