EQUITY has became an expert partner of the Legal Anti-Corruption Forum organized by Yurydychna Praktyka!

The first panel discussion was focused on Ukraine's anti-corruption policy. It was attended by government officials, lawyers, academics, and EQUITY partner Oleksandr Lysak.

During his speech, Oleksandr focused on the "risks" that exist in the updated anti-corruption policy. In addition, the speakers discussed issues related to preventing corruption under martial law, the influence of foreign partners, and real mechanisms for fighting corruption in Ukraine.

The second session of the Legal Anti-Corruption Forum "Defense in Anti-Corruption Proceedings" was moderated by EQUITY partner Vyacheslav Krahlevych.

The speakers discussed the latest practical legal positions of the High Anti-Corruption Court, key differences in the practice of reviewing HACC decisions by the Supreme Court, procedural consequences of mobilization of participants in the process, as well as many other important issues related to the protection of clients in anti-corruption criminal proceedings.
