EQUITY is an Expert Partner of the VII International Litigation and Legal Forum

VII International Litigation and Legal Forum was traditionally held on June 12-13, and EQUITY was the expert partner thereof.

Forum started off with the discussion on "Judicial RE:Form - Assessing Key Changes and Projecting the Future" has started its work. Oleh Malinevsky, EQUITY partner, joined the team of speakers. The partner provided a futuristic forecast for the development of the judicial system of Ukraine and also outlined the strategic vision of new vectors in judicial reform. Judges, prosecutors and attorneys all came to the conclusion that it is only worth to carry on forward, with no fear to introduce new products and clear determination to go beyond the national doctrine!

Oksana Varakina, EQUITY Advisor, spoke about the trends in recognition and enforcement of arbitration decisions. While referring to practical cases, Oksana analyzed the current state of arbitration decisions enforcement and the positive trends in the standing of the Supreme Court over the past year. Oleksandr Lysak, EQUITY Partner, joined the active discussion on “Oblico morale: Prospects for Creation of Common Ethical Standards for Justice”. "We need to start with ourselves"! This quote became the leitmotif of his entire speech. Oleksandr drew a line between ethical behavior of the attorney and client defense strategy, as well as analyzed ethical standards. "Relations between all parties to the process should be exclusively professional and exclude emotional component," the partner emphasized.
