EQUITY represents the interests of Andriy Kobolyev, the former head of Naftogaz

According to the prosecution, Andriy Kobolyev is suspected of misappropriation of funds received for winning the Stockholm arbitration against russian Gazprom.

(1) On January, 2023, partners of  EQUITY Taras Poshyvaniuk and Olexandr Lysak took part in the court hearing and persuaded the court to dismiss the motion of NABU detectives on choosing a measure of restraint against Mr Andriy Kobolev in the form of detention with an alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 365 million.

(2) On April 12, 2023,  High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine dismissed the motion of the NABU detective to extend the pre-trial investigation time limits in the case of Andriy Kobolyev!

(3) On April 14, 2023, the prosecutor informed the defense of the completion of the pre-trial investigation.

The next, no less important, part of the exam is still ahead, and the case is ongoing! We will make every effort to ensure a fair proceeding!
