HACC upheld the position of EQUITY attorneys in the case of ex-Chairman of Naftogaz Andriy Kobolyev!

High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine dismissed the motion of the NABU detective to extend the pre-trial investigation time limits in the case of EQUITY's client, ex-Chairman of Naftogaz Andriy Kobolyev!

The court upheld the position of the defense that the prosecution had every opportunity to conduct the necessary investigative actions and collect all the evidence.

This decision of the investigating judge is not a subject to further appeal. The pre-trial investigation in the case expires on April 19, which means that the SAPO has 5 days to submit an indictment to court or to file a motion to relieve a person from criminal liability or to close the criminal proceeding.

The full text of this court decision is expected on 17.04.2023.

We would like to remind that Andriy Kobolyev is suspected of misappropriation of funds received for winning the Stockholm arbitration against russian Gazprom. On January 19, he served a notice of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
