On October 1, 2019, the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal supported the position of the debtor in the case of bankruptcy of Torhovyi Dim Azovzahalmash House of Commerce PrJSC and dismissed the current claims of the creditor-banks in the total amount of almost 2.3 billion hryvnas, out of which:

  • Ukrerksimbank PJSC was denied recognition of its claims in the amount of 764 million hryvnas
  • Sberbank PJSC was denied recognition of its claims in the amount of 491 million hryvnas
  • Delta-Bank PJSC was denied recognition of its claims in the amount of 310 million hryvnas
  • Alfa-Bank PJSC was denied recognition of its claims in the amount of 3o0 million hryvnas
  • Ukrsotsbank PJSC was denied recognition of its claims in the amount of 260 million hryvnas
  • Raiffeisen Bank Aval was denied recognition of its claims in the amount of 197 million hryvnas.

EQUITY attorneys have proved the legal position as to impossibility to accrue interests for using the loan after expiration of the crediting period as well as institution of bankruptcy proceeding.
