EQUITY Law Firm Joins Initiative To Establish Secure Sky Charity Foundation
EQUITY has joined the initiative to establish Secure Sky charity foundation by providing legal support of its activities.
The fund was established in connection with an awful crash of the passenger liner Boeing 737 of the International Ukrainian Airlines, flight PS-752, brought down with a surface to air missile over Tehran on January 8, 2020.
“For our firm it is a manifestation of our civil position and social responsibility. This tragedy is an unprecedented incident for our country and, unfortunately, today there is no ‘recipe” of the most effective protection of victims’ families, the air carrier, and the state. We are of opinion that by combining efforts of the best professionals, namely lawyers, bankers, auditors, media experts, pilots, dispatchers and many others, we will facilitate the most effective decision-making in regard to assisting the victims’ families, honoring the victims, determining those at fault, applying mechanisms of responsibility and ensuring safety of future flights,” EQUITY partner Oleg Malinevskyi said.
All funds donated by businesses at the account of the fund will be designated for building a memorial at the Boryspil’ airport and assistance to 11 families of the victims.
